A Personal Dream : The beginning of Building Smiles Foundation
Building Smiles Foundation was born from a deeply personal dream. During a six-month journey across Asia, and especially throughout the Philippines, our founder, Maxime Carlier, met families who, despite facing difficult living conditions, radiated remarkable hope, resilience, and positivity. These encounters left a lasting impression and gave the Philippines a special place in his heart. From that moment on, he made a promise to himself: one day, he would return and give something back to the people who had touched his life so profoundly.
From Difficult Times to Helping Others
Our founder, Maxime, has also experienced difficult periods in his life. These challenges taught him how important support, hope, and human kindness truly are. He discovered that real happiness does not come from material possessions, but from helping others and seeing a smile on their faces.
